Code Takeover, step by step
The update of Lapker Zrt.'s WordPress website was delivered using the Vermis Code Takeover methodology. We examined the entire file structure of the existing website, assessed its current state and planned the security measures that needed to be carried out. Without these steps, the website would have been neither safe to run nor ready for a modern update. Once the security work was complete, we updated the website, fixed responsive front-end bugs and restored correct real-time communication with the external SAP system. Treasury software solutions for banks and corporations
For FXsoftware, our main task was to rebuild their outdated website from the ground up. We built the site with a front-end site builder plugin. To manage content in multiple languages, we integrated a localization module that makes all site content available in several languages without restrictions. The sections on every subpage type feature their own micro-animations with parallax and fade effects, further enhancing the user experience. Rebranding the well-known EuroCenter mall
We developed the GobudaMall website as part of the Eurocenter rebrand. We coded a fully custom web design for the site and integrated and configured a map module featuring both 2D and 3D maps of the mall. The map is also used on the information kiosks throughout the mall. The website keeps mall visitors up to date on the latest news, promotions and other key information. Hotel Clark
Rebuilding the website of the renowned Hotel Clark Budapest
For Hotel Clark, our main task was to rebuild the existing website. We redesigned the site's UX wireframes and web design. What makes the site special is the custom theme we developed for the WordPress framework, along with a custom Google Maps API map module extension that matches the brand template and highlights attractions near the hotel. We also audited the website with several analysis tools, fixed coding issues and poorly optimized solutions, and used various plugins to ensure stable, consistent performance across all platforms. Frontend and user experience
As part of our engagement, our main responsibility is ongoing website development and maintenance, built primarily on HTML5 / Java / native PHP / WordPress. On the government communications side, this includes developing multiple campaign sites. It also covers the IT support needed to run WordPress-based websites securely, which is a serious challenge in its own right and one we handle on an ongoing basis.
